Ah, the time that parents everywhere have been waiting for – BACK TO SCHOOL!!
Why is it that no matter how much you prepare for the first day the night before you will inevitably end up late on the first day? Judging by the line of cars waiting in the drop off area of my son’s school today as the final bell was ringing, I don’t believe I am the only parent struggling to pull it all together this morning. We made it though, and we were NOT the last people entering the school, thank you very much. 
I even managed to snap off a few pics before we left, hmmm, now you don’t suppose that is what made us late do ya? Naa, couldn’t be.
First grade now…I hope his teacher has a lot of patience and a good sense of humor – or at least an excellent prescription drug plan. He’s just as mischievous as he is cute. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
