Welcome Paisley
May 1, 2007 – 8:04 am
Join me in giving a very warm welcome to the newest member of the JOY program, Paisley. Now come on, with a beautiful, unique name like that – you just KNOW Mom & Dad are going to be the coolest!
This little sweetie is going to spend her first year with lifeXpressions and we are going to have fun! She was such a well behaved little girl during our newborn session. Slept on cue, woke up on cue, no tears. She made my job look easy. Crossing fingers that the 3 newborns I’ve got this week are so kind to me. *knock on wood*
Look at those tiny tootsies, don’t they make your heart melt?

Sometimes things fall into place so perfectly and a mood strikes. Not always the traditional photograph but then, I’m not always a traditional photographer. There are certain images that strike me as having a larger meaning. One that may not always be outwardly clear but can often be seen when you take the time to feel the emotion of the photograph. This is one of those images. I see this as a wall portrait, on canvas, titled “Our Gift From Above”. Ok, so this is my corny moment of the day. But it works for me, the light falling gracefully onto the top of her head, cradled in Daddy’s protective hands. I adore the shadows and the mood showcased here. *adore it* In fact, it may end up becoming one of my studio samples.

Family fun
April 6, 2007 – 7:00 am
Today I’m going to share with you a very fun loving family from Naples. Kinda makes you want to jump in bed and have a pillow fight of your own doesn’t it? They already have one WAY cute 2 yr old boy, Noah, soon they’ll be welcoming a sweet little girl into the family. If she has half the energy of her big brother Mom & Dad are going to be in for quite a ride!

Welcome Alec!
March 28, 2007 – 1:29 pm

I am so proud to introduce this handsome little man to you all. He belongs to a very special client that I’ve had the pleasure of photographing on several occasions over the last year and a half or so. This is Alec, who I’m willing to bet will soon be breaking hearts all over Collier county and beyond! Welcome to the world sweet Alec, I am going to enjoy watching you grow through the next year and beyond! You may recognize his adorable big sister, Lauren. She’s been featured on our site a time or two herself! Save me some tea Lauren, we’ll have our little tea party in a couple months, I promise!

Last one, be proud Mom & Dad – you have two fantastic children! Truly beautiful on the inside and out.
This little piggy went to the market,

this little piggy stayed home, this little piggy had roast beef, this little piggy had none, and THIS little piggy went….

Oh sorry, I got sidetracked for a moment there. My daughter loves the little piggy game.
This darling little girl is Zulai of Fort Myers, Florida. What a peaceful little angel she was too!
Look at the pride on Mom & Dad’s faces.

Lions and tigers and

more lions? Ha! Mom had this little guy’s room packed full of lions, in fact, you might say it was quite a jungle in there. Ok, ok, bad joke.
This family was truly an honor to work with. I cherish all of my clients, of course, but when you have the opportunity to work with a couple who have worked so hard to experience the joys of parenthood having the chance to preserve this special time for them takes on a whole new meaning. Please humor me, I would like to share several from this newborn session with you. Introducing Sebastian of Naples, Florida.

What a happy little fella!

*yawn* Alright, that’s enough for now.

Favorite things
February 12, 2007 – 5:10 pm
One of my favorite things about this job would have to be the relationships formed and the ability to watch these special families grow over time. This little angel is Sydney, she is a resident of Naples Florida. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her before, during that shy stage that many soon-to-be two year olds go through. When I had the honor of photographing her lovely family again it was so rewarding to see how much she had grown socially in just a few months. Suddenly the little girl who was very cautious and unsure of me had grown into this lively little lady who was quite eager to show me everything she had learned to do in the last few months. Sydney is expecting a baby sister soon, I’ve been sworn to secrecy on the name as I hear that is still up for debate but I have a hunch Mom and Sydney may be winning.
I look forward to meeting that little angel in April!
