Well, it IS that time of year. 
What a sweet little guy, eh? This is Jack of Fort Myers, his session was the last one before the Christmas deadline and he was a dream to work with. What a great way to wrap up the season!
*yawn* It’s a hard life, isn’t it?
I’m falling behind in the blog just a bit due to the holiday sessions being in full swing. I promise to post more as the madness tappers off. I’d like to introduce you to Sophia & Alex of Fort Myers, adorable children. Alex is full of personality and energy. Quite a charmer too, he even shared his Thomas the train set with me. 
Sophia was is so tiny and delicate. Everything you would expect of a sweet baby girl. I wanted to showcase her size in this session as I believe she is one of my smallest newborns to date. Photographing them early is always such a pleasure, I can imagine Mom & Dad looking back on these images in a few years and being amazed to remember that she was once so small.
I should not even be looking at these yet as I have several sessions ahead of little Bri’s to proof but obviously I have to peek to back up the images and I couldn’t help but to share this one. Do you ever feel like you have the whole world in the palm of your hands?
This has been a summer of newborns and maternities and I am certainly not complaining. How fantastic is my job that I get to cuddle up with these sweet little bundles for a few hours and then send them back to Mom and Dad for the 2 am feedings and diaper changes. ha ha ha
This handsome little fella is Chayton of Fort Myers. We’re still in the proofing process of this session but I hope to have him wrapped up in the next few days. He was just such a perfect baby, so calm and peaceful. Almost made me want another one – hey – I said “almost”!
Look, he’s smiling! Awe.
Remember this moment Daddy. He’ll never fit in your arms this neatly again, soon you’ll be passing footballs in the back yard and shooting hoops on Sunday afternoons.
I just love babies and bellies. I completely enjoyed my pregnancies, the mommy glow, the fashionable clothes (ok, not so fashionable with my first but with the second and third maternity clothes became much more attractive), oh and I can not forget the satisfaction that comes from being able to eat ice cream at three in the morning and not hearing a single complaint about it! Ah, it’s the simple joys in life.
Maternity sessions are always so much fun, almost as fun as when I get to come back and meet that sweet new baby. This adorable couple decided to be surprised, we don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl yet but I’m taking bets! My guess is girl, she’s carrying out front more than anything and very compact. With my girl I was all belly, with my boys I gained everywhere. What do you think, girl or boy?
Ha ha ha, I just love this one! They have three adorable little fur babies already. I think they’re ready for the real thing!
