Sneak Peek { Riley & Family } - Estero Family Portraits

This most adorable young family has been patiently waiting for their proofs while we wrap up the holiday sessions. I’m hoping they enjoy this little sneak peek as it’s only a very small sampling of all the adorable images to come. Little Riley was such a joy to photograph! Mom mentioned before the session that Riley is very expressive and even though she’s not talking she speaks volumes with her facial expressions. Well, she was certainly not kidding about that!! I’ve been giggling my way through the images and finding it hard to pick just a few for the blog, I can only imagine how challenging it’s going to be for Mom & Dad to pick favorites.

Sneak Peek { Wade & Jake } - Naples Child Photography

With this post I am officially ’sneak peeking’ the last of the holiday sessions and all sessions with guaranteed holiday delivery will be online before the end of the day. Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to sneak peek all of the lovely children I’ve photographed during the fast paced holiday portrait season but I do plan to continue sharing images from those sessions in the coming weeks. So, if you’d hoped to catch a glimpse of your session on the blog - stay tuned - we’re not done yet!! :)

Now, let me introduce to you Wade & Jake of Naples. This is my second year photographing these two adorable young men and I do believe, aside from one little toy-in-river mishap which I will not go into today :???: , we had a wonderfully fun session together. I’m going to bet that first image becomes a favorite for big brother Wade. He sorta looked at me like I’d lost my mind when I asked him if he wanted to climb the tree. Once he got up there he decided that it was a pretty cool place to hang out and kept asking to go back up the big tree the rest of the morning. I don’t know how well you can tell on the web sized image but little Jake is pointed up at his big brother in the shot because he wanted to go up there with him. *giggle* So cute!

Ok, so the last sneak peek of the season was a big one, I just couldn’t help myself! Oh and um, Mom, *giggle* better you than me! There is no way I could pick a favorite. Looks like you’ve got some tough decisions to make. Hey, don’t blame me, it’s not my fault your children are so adorable! :lol:

Proof Update for the {Slices of Life} Mini Sessions | Sneak Peek Jaiden & Eliana

First, a quick status update for my Slices of Life mini session clients who are patiently awaiting their proofs. All Slices of Life proofs will be online Friday November 14th. Clients will be notified through email just as soon as the galleries are active with complete instructions on viewing and ordering. :)

Now for the fun stuff…I just have to sneak peek a few of Jaiden & Eliana. It seems like only yesterday little Eli was a sweet newborn all snuggled up in Daddy’s arms. Look at her now, growing up so quickly! At 2 years old she looks exactly like her big sister looked when we first met more than 3 years ago. Clearly good looks run in the family!

Trick or Treat!!

Since I haven’t shared any photos of my own kids in what feels like for-ev-er I thought it might be fun to pop in quickly and share a few of them all dressed up for Trick or Treating.

This year Nick was a United States Soldier which Rob loved since this gave him a chance to tell Nick stories about his time in the Army and all about what an excellent marksmen he was ‘back in the day’. I was informed tonight that I am completely clueless on the various ways a solider stands so the pose/stance whatever ya call it is thanks to Daddy. *giggle*

As for Miss Olivia { my little mini me } well, she was no mere ballerina, oh no that would never do, she was a ballerina PRINCESS. Don’t you just love how meek and humble my little girl is? *giggle* At one point a wonderful candy-hander-outer (I didn’t check wikipedia but I’m pretty sure that’s the technical term) commented that she looked like a beautiful little queen. To which I replied, “It’s hard enough catering to the demands of a princess - don’t give her any ideas!” :grin:

Alright, Just two more of my littlest angels. Thanks for humoring a proud Mommy. I swear it’s like pulling teeth to get a real smile out of these two, they know all my tricks by now. :P

Featured Session: { Avery, 3 yrs }

Yippee! Another featured session slideshow!! Why? Well, partly because I have guilt over being such a bad blog poster recently but mostly just because she is way too cute and I just couldn’t decide on ‘a few’ favorites for the blog. I’ve had the honor of photographing Avery 3 times now, in fact, her adorable smile happens to be one of the first images on the main website. I know it doesn’t seem possible, but I do believe she gets cuter every.single.time we meet! Kudos to Avery’s Mom & Nana for their amazing sense of style yet again. I’m thinking maybe I should put you two on the payroll as client stylists, you ladies are awesome!! :grin:

Introducing Sydney {Then & Now}

Sydney and her family are very special to me. I first met Sydney in ‘06 and I knew then and there I had met a very special family. Their love for Sydney, and each other, was evident. I felt privileged to have been welcomed into their lives. I’ve since photographed little Sydney on numerous occasions and was honored with the opportunity to photograph their newest daughter Sienna shortly after her arrival…I’ve been included in so many magical moments for this family it seems only natural that their images would be among those to grace the pages of The Big Book of Babies.

Allow me to introduce to you…

Sydney {then} as published in The Big Book of Babies:

While I wish I could say I have more recent {now} photos of Sydney, her family has since moved to North Carolina which has limited our time together some what. To get a little peek of how adorable Sydney is now (and to meet her adorable sister Sienna) you’ll need to pop over to my post featuring their visit back to the sunshine state last Janurary. Beyond that, well, you’ll have to check back to the blog in a few months when they make their way back to Florida for our annual session.

We asked Sydney’s Mom to answer a few questions for the blog, here’s what she had to say…

What is your favorite weekend activity to do with the family?

“I honestly love a day at home with the girls where we can just play together on our own schedule. Having to get out the door with two little ones can sometimes be a stressful task.”

The most requested toy in my house right now is…

“Whatever the baby is playing with! Somehow that item magically becomes very interesting to Sydney as well.”

One thing I hope to never forget is…

“how my girls smell after their bath.”

If there were 25 hours in a day, I would spend that extra hour…

“Playing with Sydney & Sienna of course!”

What I’m most looking forward to in 2008…

“Hopefully working a few things out with my business so I can spend more time with the girls”

(Check out their adorable new children’s clothing line; www.fliggity.com!)

What do you love about lifeXpressions? (Hey, you know you would ask too!)

“I seriously love the creativity and the quality of the pictures - I don’t know what your ’secret’ is but I can’t find anything like it here in Charlotte!”"

Introducing Dominic {Then & Now}

I find it quite an honor that this family has chosen me to document their most special moments time and time again over the course of the last almost five years now. It’s really no surprise that the editors of The Big Book of Babies decided little Dominic should grace their pages not once, but twice! In this first image little Dominic was only 6 months old and barely able to sit without support. The second image featured in the book shows a very excited and happy little 1 year old during our annual holiday session.
