Ok, look at that adorable face. Seriously, could Hays be any cuter? I think not. I had the pleasure of photographing this little guy on the beach a few weeks ago while his family was visiting the Naples area. Hays was having so much fun playing in the sand…and eating the sand…ha ha yep, they all do it. I don’t know why they do it, they just do, and it makes me laugh out loud every.single.time.

First let me apologize for the lack of sneak peeks lately. Things have been quite busy in the land of lifeXpressions and, unfortunately, the sneak peeks are usually the first thing to get put on hold so I can concentrate on shooting and editing sessions. So, for a switcherooni I plan to sprinkle a few ‘Featured Sessions” over the blog, hopefully in the middle them I’ll be able to pop in and share a few ‘Sneak Peeks” too. 
I have to tell you all, I have had so much fun doing the Mother & Child sessions. The older my own children get, the more I realise how important these memories and how important it is to have photographs to tell the story of your relationship with your children. Too often Moms are behind the camera snapping the moments or worse yet, too intimidated by the camera to step in front of it and just be themselves with their children. To be perfectly honest, it does my heart good to know that the images captured during these sessions will become their cherished memories years from now. Mushy stuff aside, they really are just plain FUN for everyone involved.
I met this Megan and John recently on a chilly Naples beach. The slight chill in the air didn’t phase John, not even for a second! This little guy was so sweet and playful with an infectious belly laugh that made me giggle more than once. And, as you can see, he and his Mommy both share the same beautiful smile that somehow managed to brighten the entire Southwest Florida coastline.
The Mother and Child sessions have gotten so much positive feedback, I’ve decided to extend the offer through Mothers Day. Stay tuned to the blog for more details!

Holy cow, that boy can fly! And as you can see he loved every second of it! This little cutie is only a year old and just overflowing with personality! Of course it’s really no surprise, Mom and Dad are equally charming. What a fun family to photograph. I have so many favorites it was hard to pick just a few for the blog!

Let’s call this a trial run of a possible new feature to the innerXpressions blog. My goal is to be able to share more than just an image or two but rather to give blog viewers a real taste of what a lifeXpressions session is like. Personally, I prefer the quality of the slideshows I create for my clients for long-term enjoyment since the color accuracy is more realistic and the images don’t move quite so rapidly but this little animated ‘snip’ is pretty adorable in it’s own right.
I posted a few images from this little guy’s session on the blog toward the end of July and, well, since the whole family is just so darned cute anyway I decided they would be the perfect family to kick us off. Please feel free to leave your thoughts on the video and the concept of future ‘featured sessions’. I am always open to feedback! Now I must get ready for a special evening out with my guy. Just going to pop in and post one or two, really quickly. I’m a little backed up and bouncing off walls just thinking of everything I need to do but my computer doesn’t move as quickly as my brain does so instead of crossing things off here I sit, waiting, working, waiting, working, waiting. Oye! I really need to find a way be in two places at once…seriously. It would make life so much easier! ha ha
So, I’m sharing a quick one today, this little guy is Adrian. He recently visited the Naples area for his first birthday. Now obviously he brought the family along with him, but I’ll share more of them later. Mom swears up and down this little guy wasn’t enjoying the beach at all in the days prior to our session. In fact, if I remember correctly there was mention of tears and meltdowns as soon as the toes hit the sand. Well, let’s just say that was NOT the case when I arrived that day. In fact, I’d say this little man thought the sand was de·li·cious! *snicker*
This is one of those shots that when you first look at it you can’t help but to giggle out loud. You know, the kind of giggle that sneaks up on you and makes you snort when you laugh. Yea, that kind of funny!
Ok, just one more because he’s so stinkin’ cute! I need a caption for this one. Something that reads, “Who me? I didn’t eat the sand, honest!”
One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish…this bunch of cuties had the most adorable coordinated clothing. I’ve really got to hand it to Mom, she totally outdid herself! Ahhh, I wish I had time to share more but it’s after 5:00 pm and I’ve got to go pick up my own little monkeys.
I happen to know that the Mommy has been waiting very patiently for her sneak peek so I wanted to pop it up real quick before I call it a night. These two are just so adorable – my biggest challenge is deciding which to showcase on the blog. Mr. & Mrs. B , you’ve got your work cut out for you! ha ha ha
