Think holiday cards this week! What is your family going to wear? Don’t worry, that’s why I write a Trendy Tuesday blog! Relax this season (ha) and be comfortable in your clothes, it may be the only time you can be stress free all season! Dress your family in green this year. Yes, anyone can “do red” for the holidays, but isn’t everyone “going green”? So why not your holiday card fashion too – really go green!
First buy everyone in the family a new pair of jeans (without holes). You can go to The Gap and fit everyone in a dark or medium wash jean. Then start accenting the group in green, black and white for an amazing look. Don’t worry about your shoes, you won’t need them on location!
Try on these fashion must haves. Don’t be afraid to mix and match with layering, scarves, skinny jeans and belts. Here are some ideas…put dad in a fabulous outfit from Banana Republic that he will totally rock in. Mom I know you love Tory Burch, so buy the jewels worthy of Cleopatra and the perfect tunic for this year’s shoot. Your Seniors want to wear everything from American Apparel, so let them, and they will express who they are by layering black and green – and maybe even smile too. Let your little man look sweet, yet all grown up in his Ralph Lauren sweater vest and button up with the sleeves rolled up. Your young fashionista has to dress in a tunic from pokkadots.com over those skinny Gap jeans for an “it” look. And let her wrap up in a green scarf from Etsy store HoneyBeehive to complete the whole family.
