Around Town

Can you believe Christmas is only 2 weeks away?!  Have you gotten all your shopping done?  How does your family celebrate the holiday?  Any special traditions?  I’d love to hear about them – please post a comment and share!

In the meantime, let’s check out some local events scheduled for the weekend, shall we?

Shark Shootout, Tiburon Golf Club – Naples, all weekend!

I have to admit, my husband is a golf pro and can’t stop talking about going to this tournament this weekend.  Having been to a few myself, I can say they’re actually quite enjoyable even if you’re not a lover of the game.  The beauty of these courses, and the quiet solitude and wilderness they reflect is just breathtaking.  With that being said, some of golf’s greats are in Naples for the 21st annual Shark Shootout, continuing through Sunday at Tiburón Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples. The weekend’s activities will include the inaugural Shark Shootout 5K, hosted by Greg Norman. Registration is $30 on race day and includes a T-shirt and daily grounds ticket to the Shootout. For tickets or registration information, call (888) 66-SHARK or click here.

We do Magic Reindeer Food EVERY YEAR. The kids LOVE to run outside in their p.j.s after dark and sprinkle it all over the lawn. :)
