Jaden, Camryn & Taylor | Top-Secret, Undercover, Hush-Hush Family Session at the Secret Garden

lifeXpressions photography secret garden family portraitsUndercover sessions, could it be I’ve discovered the next big trend in portrait photography? haha Probably not. Mom did warn me prior to the session that Camryn (2 yrs old), while totally adorable, truly hates to be photographed. It’s actually quite common at that age but with a some patience I can usually coax out a little of the child’s unique personality. Nope. Not this time, Camryn meant business! I’d pulled out every trick in the book and the little cutie just wasn’t having it. So I did the only thing I could think of, I called off the session. Yep.

Okay, not really. What I did was ask Mom and Dad to forget about me for a while and just go play with their kids in the beautiful garden. I made no attempt to pick up my camera or go near them. Then, having forgotten the stranger with the big camera the children went about their morning playing and having a fantastic time with Mommy & Daddy. That’s when I took the opportunity to get sneaky and started creaping through the trees to capture them playing together.

Clearly I need to better devlop my undercover techniques since they did eventually spot me. Of course, by that time they were all having too much fun to care. :) lifexpressions photography family portraits in the secret garden of naples

Jaden, you are just way too cute little man! And Camryn, those big baby blues and CURLS!! What a beauty!

I think it’s even more special when they don’t actually live in Florida but still come to see me regularly for updated sessions. The last time I’d photographed this family Jaden was 3 and Camryn was just a little baby. This year they welcomed Taylor to the family, she looks a lot like her sister at did at that age, so sweet!lifexpressions photography family portrait session, fort myers florida, on location photographer, naples beach photographer, naples newborn photography, sibling portraits, sanibel beach portraitsI have to say, I’m quite eager to see how much they grow and change by our next session together. I’m betting I won’t be required to do undercover work anymore but I’m pretty sure we’ll have a great time regardless!  See you all soon!!

All the pics are gorgeous, but I have to say the one of Camryn with the curls, big blue eyes, and that green background took my breath away! Great job!

You managed to get great images! That’s why custom photography is so, so worth it. Everyone knows two year olds are tough, but Moms still NEED to capture them at this age. This family has to be thrilled!
