Have camera - must swim!

Our totally awesome diving adventure in the Caribbean last December lead to the death of my poor little point & shoot. Unfortunately the underwater housing I’d purchased failed at some point and the camera was toast. Some might say that I’m a little picky when it comes to photo quality (gee..ya think?) so finding a new point and shoot for those quick snaps of the kids is well, a little challenging for me. That was until yesterday! Introducing the Olympus Stylus 850 SW…

Cute little bugger isn’t it?! Not only is it totally adorable but this little guy is rugged enough to withstand a five foot fall and WATERPROOF up to 10 feet. I really didn’t hold much hope for the image quality but with such unique features I felt compelled to at least try it out for a while. Well, what can I say? I’m seriously impressed. I foresee some very FUN photos in our future together. :D

    they had another version of this camera from a few years ago…i think the colors in this version are so gorgeous. that first shot cracks me up. what a great little camera!! olympus makes a fantastic P&S digital, our first digital camera was an olympus and it still works nicely.

    i hope you get that first image printed in metallic. it would be so fantastic!
