It’s time and we are beyond excited!! We will be traveling to Miami very soon to set sail on the “Freedom Of The Seas”…ahhh…swimming…diving…surfing…snorkeling…even rock climbing and ice skating! This is going to be one amazing cruise!
I plan to come back with fully recharged batteries and about a million photos! I even bought a special case for my point & shoot digital that will let me take it diving to take pictures of the fishes. Exciting stuff!!
I have to give a pat on the back to the wonderful photographer I flew in from Annapolis, Connie Groah of Barefoot Photography. She was brave enough to take on my family and managed to capture some amazing photos in the process. I think I love her! If you are ever in Annapolis or have family in the area I highly recommend looking her up! My kids loved her so much they didn’t want her to go home.
Connie was kind enough to allow me to post some images on my blog from our sessions together so I’ll add them below. I will say, I think I have a renewed respect for what my clients go through prior to their sessions. From coordinating clothing for five people to trying to recall their favorite games/songs on the spot - it’s a lot of pressure. Of course it’s a ton of fun too and the memories captured will last a lifetime!
Thank you Mrs. Groah, it was a pleasure having you here!

Sweet Liv, almost 4 years old now and looking more grown up by the day. But as you can see from the image below, still very much Mommy’s little girl. I wouldn’t have it any other way!

And the man behind the scenes, my right arm, best friend, and completely adorable, though sometimes mildly sarcastic, husband Rob. Yes, he still makes my heart go pitter patter.

Ah, here’s the whole group. The source of my joy, inspiration, motivation, and yes - even frustration. ha ha No one ever said it would be easy being a Mother but it certainly is an adventure! Left to right: Rob aka Mr. Wonderful (wink*wink), Terrilyn (that’s me!), Olivia aka Liv or Livie-Loo Who but she also answers to Queen of the Universe. Then we have Trevor aka Big Trev or even just -T-, he’s the easy going one of the group. And last but certainly not least the grinning toothless Casanova on the end there is Nicholas aka Nick, Nickster, and sometimes Gorbinsky - ha ha don’t ask!

One final note before I head out the door for my clients, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for a wonderfully exciting year!! It has been both an honor and a joy getting to know you all. I’ve had the pleasure of watching couples turn into families and scrunchy little newborns blossom into adventurous toddlers. I’ve been honored to spend time with several incredibly bright, beautiful, and highly motivated teens as they prepare for college. And I’ve been privileged enough to spend countless days “working” on the sunny Florida beaches capturing memories for local residents and vacationers alike. It’s a hard job but somebody’s got to do it right? Thank you for trusting me to capture your memories, I can’t wait to see you all again as we make our way through 2008!
Stay tuned… I’ll be posting some warm and sunny Caribbean photos as time allows! lifeXpressions will resume normal business operations on January 2, 2008. Happy holidays to you and yours!
