What’s happening in the land of lifeXpressions?

They’re Baaaaack! | Limited Edition Mother & Child Portrait Sessions

It was about this time last year I announced the limited edition Mother & Child sessions with lifeXpressions, the response was overwhelming. I have to tell you, these sessions brought me (and the participants) so much joy that I just knew I’d have to do it again. To give you just a little sampling of how much fun we had take a peek into some of last year’s Mother and Child sessions: Deena with her beautiful children; Lauren, Alec & Kaia, Connie and the ever charming Alex, Louise and her spirited little man Liam and of course I could never forget Megan & sweet baby John.

Is it any wonder that over the last few weeks I’ve received several emails from clients who are just as eager as I am for another opportunity to capture those special mother and child memories? Flashback Friday

December 4, 2009 – 9:00 am

Here’s the scoop: Each Friday I’ll randomly select one photo from two different sessions from the lifeXpressions archives to share here on the blog. The featured family will be eligible to win a free 8×10 of the image showcased on the blog AND a $50 gift certificate towards a future session which they may use for themselves or pass on to a friend.

So what’s the catch? The flashback image could be as recent as this past January or as far back as 2004, names of the clients will not be given so you’ll just have to make sure you’re checking the blog every Friday to see if your session is featured. If it is, you have just one week to claim the prize so you better act quickly! I’ll start off easy and just dig into the 2008 session archives. Are you ready?!? Here we gooooo….Flashback Friday

Mark Your Calendar

Gosh this year is really flying by isn’t it? Hard to believe that Thanksgiving is only one week away. I’m sure many of you have big plans for a fun day filled with family and yummy food. Mmmm Turrrrkey. :P

After you’ve enjoyed a wonderful meal and had yourself a peaceful nights sleep thanks to the wonderful sedative effects of that turkey dinner your sure to wake up bright eyed and refreshed. You might even be one of those brave souls who plan to venture out and see what amazing deals are waiting for you on Black Friday. Well, I can tell you two things you won’t find in any stores on Black Friday; ME and the super cool one-day-only lifeXpressions special offers!  Shhhhh That’s all for now. New Contact Number | { Call Us Toll-Free }

With lifeXpressions being located smack dab in the middle of a tropical paradise like Naples Florida you probably aren’t surprised to hear that we work with a LOT of vacationing families. Most live right here in the good o’ USA but many also travel to see me each year from Canada, England and Germany. In an effort to make it a little easier for them to reach us we’ve added a dedicated 800 number for the business and will slowly begin transitioning away from the local number currently shown throughout the website and on our marketing materials. If you’ve already got us in your handy-dandy address book you’ll want to take just a moment to update your records as well.

And since no post is complete without a photo, and partly because I’m terribly behind on sneak peeks due to the holiday portrait season wrapping up here in the land of lifeXpressions, I’d like to share this one from a recent sunset session with a most adorable young couple. We had already said our goodbyes but when I turned back and saw them cuddled up to watch their first Florida sunset together I couldn’t resist snapping just one more. Important Message: Voicemail Not Working Properly

September 23, 2009 – 9:26 am

A brief but important message this morning regarding some technical difficulties with our voicemail service.

If you have called the office within the last two weeks, left a voicemail message and did not receive a call back, please know this was completely unintentional. I’ll be working my way down the list of people who have left messages today. lifeXpressions policy is to return all messages within 24 hours. Our service provider assures me they are working to fix the problem as fast as they can. In the mean time, please feel free email me or call me back at your convenience. I will be in the office most of the day today and you can bet that if I do step out, I will be checking my messages manually upon my return!

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to resolve this issue.
