It’s that time of year again! lifeXpressions will be offering our annual holiday mini sessions on Friday September 24th at Delnor-Wiggins Pass Beach in Naples and Saturday September 25th at the beautiful Naples Secret Garden. Our Slices of Life sessions offer the perfect opportunity to capture a few great shots- whether you would simply like to document a new milestone or capture a shot for use in your holiday cards. All of our regular products will be available making this the perfect opportunity to get a jump on your holiday shopping!
Sessions are quite limited and as such will be scheduled on a first come – first serve basis. The Slices of Life session fee of $75.00 is required to reserve your time. Fair warning, these sessions will book fast! We recommend calling early to ensure availability of your preferred time.
Each Slices of Life Session Includes:
- 20 minute session for up to four people
- 10-15 images presented in a private online gallery
- Special Xpressive Collections starting at $250.00
- Exclusive keepsakes and promotional albums in keeping with the current ‘Slices of Life’ theme

C’mon Family Fun at Bell Tower – Saturday, July 17th
The Children’s Museum of Naples’ education series, Family Fun, is expanding into Lee County at Bell Tower Shops. Children, ages 4 through 8, will have the opportunity to explore the world through hands-on activities at the Fort Myers shopping center.
Held the third Saturday of each month, through July 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Family Fun programs are free, fun and open to the public. Each activity takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes and snacks and juice are provided. A parent or adult must stay and participate in the Family Fun activities.
Space Kidettes (July 17). Explore the outer reaches of the universe and study the effects of gravity, then make a rocket that can really blast off. For additional information on the Family Fun programs, contact Jennifer Sabo, C’mon’s education director, at 239-514-0084, or click here.
Miracle Baseball Game – Sunday, July 18th at 7:05 p.m.
Have you been to a Miracle’s Baseball game yet? They’re a lot of fun, and a great time for the whole family. This Sunday is Family Fun Sunday! Pregame catch on the field and postgame spring the bases. $6.50 for general admission/ $8.50 for a box seat. For more information, click here. You can also attend a baseball camp with the Miracles! I’m thrilled to let you all know that lifeXpressions photography has now expanded to include another child and family photographer! Many of you have already met her in person, and many of you know her from the blog, but we hope you all will welcome Kelly Turner to our team!
I first met Kelly in 2006 when she commissioned me to capture her maternity and newborn pictures, and again in 2007 with the birth of her second child. Over the years, Kelly and I developed a friendship and what started out as lending me a helping hand during a very busy holiday season, eventually blossomed into more. Kelly initially started assisting me ‘behind the scenes’ with packing orders, posting on the blog, and basically learning the ropes. For the past year, Kelly has accompanied me on nearly every session – helping with lighting and prop setup for newborn and maternity sessions in client homes, holding scrims and reflectors for child and family sessions on the beaches of Naples, Fort Myers and Marco Island. She’s got quite a knack for keeping the clients entertained while the session unfolds and charming the little ones into adorable giggles. She has also been my photographer-in-training. Those of you who have met Kelly have likely seen her photographing alongside me during your session. She loves photography as much as I do, and has shown devotion and dedication to learning the profession of photography under my guidance. Although I will mentor Kelly as she continues to refine her skills, she is ready to take on her own sessions and I couldn’t be happier to have her here. I think our clients will enjoy the fresh look she adds to the already unique artistic imagery lifeXpressions is famous for.

Smuggler’s Cove Miniature Golf – Fort Myers Beach, FL
What a perfect weekend to take the family out for a round of miniature golf! And Smuggler’s Cove is the place to go offering 18 exciting holes of “adventure style” mini golf. The course is set in lush tropical settings amid waterfalls and rushing waterways with caves, pirate ships and live alligators to boot. Exploration Day – Your Hometown, Anytime!
Today I took my two boys, Jack (3) and Jake (2), to Lovers Key State Park located just south of Fort Myers Beach in Estero, Florida. We called it our ‘exploration’ day and our goal was to check out the beach (for future sessions…hee hee) and find as many cool critters and things as we could. Well, we had a blast and I wanted to share a visual ‘narrative’ of our morning. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope it inspires you to do something similar with your own children. It was quite rewarding for me too….I had a mommy and me day with my two boys and got invaluable bonding time with them 
Ready? Here we go!

By this time, we were all tired and hungry and decided it was time to head back over this bridge and go home….
