I’ve been feverishly editing sessions this week in an attempt to play catch up from my recent jaunt to Tallahassee but as I finished the edits from Sophia and Jack’s recent portrait session at the historic Naples Pier I couldn’t help myself, I simply fell in love with this shot and wanted to share it with you all…

Doesn’t it just fill your heart with ooey-gooey sweetness? I love it in color too but the black and white is so timeless to me it seemed to suit the picture perfectly. I know the Naples Municipal Pier is a special place for Mom and Dad too so I made an effort to include it in several of the images from our session together.
Ok, now that I’ve shared some sister/brother sweetness I think it’s only fitting for me to share one from the other end of the sibling spectrum. Gosh, I seem to be getting a lot of these lately. *giggle* They make me laugh every time, this is childhood ya know? You can’t have nice with out a little bit of naughty.

Jack, Jack, Jack. You sweet little stinker you! He tried really hard to play shy at the start of the session. Of course it didn’t take long for me to discover his favorite game was one I like to call ‘Bury The Photographer’. Yep. See that grin, it was completely at my expense. Oh well, what’s a little sand in your pants for the sake of the shot?
Sweet little Sophia. She’s famous now, though she has grown a bit since her nationally published book debut.
Sophia was photographed by me on this very same beach a few years back and landed a two page spread in the Big Book of Babies along with several other wonderful clients of mine. Isn’t she adorable? Yes, she was covering me with sand by this point too.

Alright, back to editing I go…
